Brian Greenberg, Managing Director and CEO
Brian Greenberg is one of the most experienced strategic advisors in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) and related Specialty Finance sectors. For 15 years, he has specialized in advising executives and investors regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&A), raising capital, and business valuation. Mr. Greenberg’s clients and relationships span all aspects of the ARM sector and include contingency collection agencies, 1st and 3rd party specialists, debt purchasers, senior executives seeking to create a platform, collection law firms and legal networks, call centers, business process outsourcing (BPO) firms, technology and other vendors to the industry, as well as many strategic and financial investors.
He and his teams have completed approximately 75 ARM transactions, creating value in excess of $1.5 billion, with clients such as Sallie Mae, West Corp., GE Capital, H.I.G. Capital, as well as with dozens of mid-market privately held companies.
Mr. Greenberg began his M&A career with Weaver Partners, where he focused on cross-border transactions for clients worldwide. He has gone on to build and lead the ARM M&A practices at Kaulkin Ginsberg (1996 to 2006) and Milestone Advisors (2006 to 2009), and in early 2009, founded Greenberg Advisors.
Mr. Greenberg graduated from George Washington University with a degree in International Business and Marketing. He served four years in the United States Air Force as a German Linguist. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Collections & Credit Risk’s news publications, and is on the boards of other industry organizations including ARMing Heroes, a not-for-profit dedicated to providing U.S. military veterans with financial and career assistance. He is a frequent presenter at conferences in the US and abroad, a published author, and an often-quoted source in national and investment banking media.
