Strategic Buyer Acquires Healthcare RCM Firm

Rockville, MD – February 28, 2019 – Greenberg Advisors (GA), the leading M&A advisor to owners and investors in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Healthcare IT (HCIT), announced the acquisition by its client, Meduit, of a specialized RCM firm. The seller’s identity and the transaction terms have not yet been disclosed. Greenberg Advisors initiated the transaction and represented Meduit throughout.

The acquired firm, located in the Southern United States, offers services focused on the back-end of the revenue cycle for healthcare providers. The acquisition made strategic sense for the buyer in order to efficiently grow its client base, while enabling the selling shareholder, a long-time industry veteran, the opportunity to retire knowing that his clients and relationships will be serviced by a premier RCM firm.

This transaction is an example of the results that GA achieves for its clients, based on its track record of specialization in RCM and Healthcare IT transactions, its extensive relationships with owners and investors, and its proven methodologies in retained search efforts.
